"Early Childhood Education and Advocacy in Sierra Leone" [Funded by UUWF]

 

 

Through the collaborative effort of Sierra Leone's "Mother's Union group" and Dallas/Fort Worth's "Sisters Of Sierra Leone" the first phase of the subject project is now underway.

 

 

Administrators and teachers of Early childhood programs in Sierra Leone were interviewed and filled out questionnaires to help identify their needs.

Based on the identified needs, East Fort Worth Montessori School Inc. will be providing the initial training materials to start the training program in December.

 

 

Volunteers will be needed to travel to Sierra Leone in July 2008 to work in the second phase of the training of community members in advocacy.

Details will be discussed during at the General Assembly.
